To kick off the CEMS experience, the RSM fall cohort spent the first week of the semester at the European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk for the Block Seminar.
During an intense week, we got to work with space technologies, innovative business ideas, and inspiring people. But most importantly, we got to know each other and had a ton of fun!
We strengthened our capabilities and team working skills in two separate programs. Students in New Venture Consulting supported start-ups of the ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) in their unique strategic challenges. In the Turning Technology into Business track, participants developed business plans to commercialize a newly developed technology used in outer space.
Aside from working in teams, our schedule was packed with workshops, guest lecturers and, of course, socializing and having fun.
The week-long CEMS Block Seminars take place at each of the CEMS member schools at the beginning of the fall semester. They are mandatory for all students and give them an opportunity to put their knowledge into practice.
